I wanted to thank you for what you are doing for families who have lost babies. Three years ago today I lost my baby girl, Violet, when I was 5.5 months pregnant. One does not prepare for a situation like that - I would have had nothing to put on her, no blanket to wrap her in. Thanks to your organization, my hospital put her in a diaper and hat and wrapped her in a blanket. These items bring me so much comfort. Knowing they were with her then and I can cuddle with them now when I'm feeling really sad or having a hard time, like today on her third birthday, is invaluable. I was recently admitted to woman's hospital after losing my identical twin girls at 17 weeks gestation. When they were born April 13th,15 I was amazed by all of the amazing gifts that had been donated to the hospital, including teeny tears diapers... I will never forget how touched I was by the tiny little diapers I got to hold and play with and most importantly it was the first and only diaper each of my girls will ever wear. I would like to be a part of teeny tears and make diapers for others who have to go through the tragedy I experienced...I didn't know anything like this existed until I had to experience it and all the little baby items were such an inspiration and a light amidst the tragedy. I will never forget the name of the child who the diapers I received were donated in honor of... I can't even describe how much the gifts meant to me.
